Heritage sites are more than architectural landmarks. They are living reminders of the collective history of our cities and deserve to be experienced in their true beauty. Unfortunately, litter has become an increasingly common experiences of many such heritage sites. Through consistent community action in the spirit of a #NoLitterLegacy, we aim to change that narrative. The Heritage Cleanliness Project is a volunteer-led community initiative by Parvaah in association with Inkpot India, dedicated to preserving the beauty of Delhi's heritage spaces through monthly cleanliness drives. Organized with support from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and supported by a growing network of organizations, volunteers, and citizens, the project brings together people from diverse backgrounds to care for the city's shared heritage. Each cleanup drive is an opportunity not only to remove litter but also to encourage responsible tourism, environmental stewardship, and civic pride.
