Parvaah, in association with the “Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences” (ILBS), organized an awareness camp and screening of Hepatitis B and C at Indira Camp, Near Begumpur Village in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi on Sunday, 16th February 2020 and it proved to be an astounding success. The health camp, which started at 8 am and continued till 5 pm, was inaugurated by Somnath Bharti ji, MLA - Malviya Nagar Constituency and Ex- Law Minister, Delhi and Benu Malhotra, Director, Parvaah at 9 am. In total, 478 participants registered at the event and out of them 379 people were screened for Hepatitis B and C infections. The event has been immensely helpful in raising awareness about the liver infections among children, elders and other participants.
