At Parvaah, we believe in supporting learning where it’s needed the most—in places where opportunity is rare, but hope is strong.

As part of our commitment, our team identified Lal Bagh Slum, near the Mansarovar Park railway line. This densely populated community is home to over 500 families, many struggling to afford basic educational needs for their children.

In early February 2025, Parvaah worked closely with ASHA and Anganwadi workers to collect data on school-going children in the area. We then distributed 200 tokens to those who regularly attend school.

What the tokens were for remained a surprise—but the children held onto them excitement.

On the day of the event 19 feb, our team arrived with college volunteers, full of energy and warmth. What unfolded was more than just a distribution drive—it was a celebration of learning and joy.

We organized fun and inclusive activities such as:

•  Antakshari
• Drawing Competition
•  Fun Games and Group Activities

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for—the unveiling of school kits.

Each child was given a beautifully packed school kit, including:

• School Bag

• Water Bottle

• Lunch Box

• Notebooks (Hindi, English, and Math)

• Drawing Book

The look on their faces made it clear—this was more than just supplies. It was recognition. It was hope. It belonged.

Our team spent time speaking with the children and their families—encouraging them to go school, to dream bigger, and to never give up.

Parvaah believes that every child deserves a chance—a fair start, and the tools to write their own future. Education doesn’t just build careers. It builds character. It plants the seed of compassion and the desire to help others—just like someone once helped them.
