In the financial year 2024–25, Parvaah, a student-led NGO, continued its mission to support education for underprivileged children—believing firmly in its power to transform lives.
During one of our ground visits, our team discovered an MCD Primary School in Sector 6, R.K. Puram. Around 90% of the children here come from nearby slums like Ekta Vihar and Ambedkar Basti. Many of them struggled to attend school regularly due to financial hardships at home. Even when they did attend, they often lacked basic learning supplies, which led to hesitation, low confidence, and feelings of exclusion.
After learning about the school’s needs, Parvaah decided to step in. With a student strength of 200 children, we organized a Stationery Distribution Drive to coincide with the Republic Day celebration on January 25, 2025—turning the day into a moment of joy and empowerment.
A school bag
Water bottle and lunch box
Notebooks (Hindi, English, Math)
A drawing book
Crayons/Colours
A geometry pouch with pencils, eraser, sharpener, and scale
To further support the school’s daily needs, Parvaah also donated a water cooler, ensuring students would have access to cold drinking water—especially during the hot summer months.
The Impact
The smiles on the children’s faces said it all. This wasn’t just about stationery—it was about helping kids feel confident, included, and cared for. Parvaah’s effort made school a little more exciting and a lot more welcoming for students who needed it the most.
