Parvaah, under its flagship Project Sahayata, initiated a deeply impactful effort to support visually impaired children in Delhi. The initiative began with a heartfelt request from the Deep Blind Welfare Association, an organization serving visually impaired youth in Khayala.

Upon visiting the facility, Parvaah’s team uncovered several urgent infrastructure challenges that were affecting the children’s comfort, hygiene, and safety. Without delay, the team stepped in—not just with support, but with full ownership of the renovation.

 Renovation Highlights

Hall Renovation:
Fresh painting and structural repairs transformed the main hall into a bright, welcoming, and positive environment.

Bathroom & Toilet Restoration:
Old, broken washrooms were completely rebuilt to ensure sanitary, safe, and accessible facilities.

Drainage & Flooring Repair:

New drainage systems and outdoor flooring created safer movement pathways, reducing risk and improving accessibility.

 Engagement & Inclusion Activities

Beyond physical restoration, Parvaah focused on emotional connection and joy. The team, along with energetic college volunteers, hosted an engagement session tailored to the unique strengths and needs of the visually impaired children.
