On 24th September, Team Parvaah had organized a “दो Mutthi Aahaar” Drive at Akshat Nilay, Somdatt and Geejgarh apartments. Our student volunteers went door to door in these colonies and collected more than 1000kgs of food grains which were then distributed among the underprivileged living in the neighbourhood. With hundreds of volunteers taking part in the event and people in huge numbers coming out to support it, the campaign proved to be highly successful. Once the event was over, our children volunteers got one and all, including the residents, passers-by and others to sign the “No Cracker Pledge” forms to ensure that the upcoming festival of Diwali remained cracker-free and this in turn helped in reducing pollution levels.
