The core mission of Parvaah is to create a better environment for children to receive quality education-and the organization has been actively working towards this goal.
Recently, the Parvaah team ensured that the needs of Government Model Primary School Bhupani, Haryana were verified and that the sanitation facilities were improved. After speaking with the school principal again during the assessment, it was found that the children studying here all come from economically weaker backgrounds, with most of their parents working as daily wage laborers whose main focus is simply earning enough to meet their daily needs.
As a result, the children do not have the necessary notebooks and textbooks for their studies. Some children even carry their class books in plastic bags.
Keeping all these children in mind, Parvaah obtained a list of all students studying in the second shift at this school. Considering the students of the second shift, 350 primary-level students were provided with complete stationery kits by Parvaah. Each kit included a school bag, English, Hindi, and Mathematics notebooks, a drawing book, colors, and a geometry kit containing pencils, an eraser, a ruler, and a sharpener. All these items were distributed to the children.
This is a small effort by Parvaah to support children in need. Parvaah is a student-led NGO, and our tagline is “Engaging Youth for a Better World.”
