In a strong step toward promoting urban sustainability, Parvaah NGO conducted its flagship Plant Distribution Drive at Nehru Place, one of Delhi's most densely populated commercial hubs.

With the growing need for green cover in urban spaces, Parvaah took the initiative to enhance ecological balance while raising awareness about environmental responsibility and community well-being.

What we did

The drive focused on three key actions: distributing over 1,300 plants among shopkeepers, visitors, and local community members; raising awareness about plant care, sustainability, and urban greenery; and actively engaging vendors at Nehru Place to participate and champion the cause.

Community engagement & long-term impact

More than just a one-day activity, this initiative was designed to create lasting change through community participation. Parvaah encouraged local vendors and volunteers to take ownership of nurturing the plants — ensuring their growth and long-term survival.

This drive is not simply about distributing plants. It is about building greener urban spaces and fostering a culture of environmental consciousness in the heart of Delhi NCR.
