Safdarjung Hospital & Laal Bagh Slum, Mansarovar Park
Parvaah celebrated the festival of lights Diwali with the children admitted in the pediatric cancer ward at Safdarjung Hospital and the Laal Bagh slum area. The initiative was driven by our desire to spread happiness, bring smiles to young faces, and offer a ray of hope not only to the children but also to their parents and caregivers.
Through simple moments of togetherness, laughter, and celebration, Parvaah aimed to make Diwali a little brighter for those who need it the most. Carrying this spirit forward, our volunteers also visited another nearby location, spending meaningful time with the children and sharing the joy of the festival. For many, this celebration marked the beginning of something new—filled with warmth, care, and connection.
As part of the drive, around 500 decorated diyas were distributed. Children celebrated Diwali with smiles as they received snack boxes and chocolates, making the day memorable and joyful. The initiative reflected Parvaah’s belief that even small acts of kindness can light up lives and create lasting happiness.
