The floods in monsoon of 2025 swept across several districts in Punjab, leaving many in deep distress, with damage to life and property. Thousands of families were forced to leave their homes and take shelter in camps and gurudwaras.
More than 1,300 villages were badly affected, and nearly 3 lakh acres of farmland—much of it full of paddy crops almost ready for harvest were under water. Families have been displaced in large numbers, and every passing day the needs on the ground are only growing.
In this moment of crisis, Parvaah joined hands with Roundglass Foundation to extend urgent help. Together, we held a discussion to understand what people needed most and prepared a list of essentials such as:
Our volunteers quickly got to work, preparing relief kits with care and dedication. These were then handed over to the Roundglass Foundation, transported to Patiala, Punjab, and finally delivered to the families who needed them most.
Each kit carried not just essential supplies but also a message of solidarity—that in difficult times, they are not alone.
